The property address — and the number of titles, if you know

What has happened — a death, a separation, a transfer, an audit, a notice from a revenue office

Any date that matters — a court date, an objection deadline, a 30 June, a date of death

Who holds access — you, a tenant, an agent, another party

If you are instructing on behalf of a client

The purpose and the required valuation date, and the instrument or provision that fixes it

Whether the instruction is joint — and if so, the other party's representative

Who the report should be addressed to, and whether it may be released to a third party

Your deadline, and whether it is a filing date or an internal one

A valuer reads what you sent and either confirms the purpose or asks the one or two questions needed to pin it down. If we think you do not need a valuation, you will hear that here.

THEN

A fixed fee in writing

One number, with the scope, the valuation date and the delivery commitment on the same page. It does not change on delivery.
