This website is published by RPV — Residential Property Valuation, a division of Asset Valuations Group. By using it you accept these terms. The content is general information only: it is not legal, tax, financial or valuation advice, it does not take your circumstances into account, and reading it does not create a professional relationship between us. A valuation engagement begins only when we issue a written quote and you accept it, and is governed by our terms of engagement rather than by this page.
Accurate at the date shown, and not advice.
Pages on this site describe statutory deadlines, tax requirements and evidence standards. These change. Each substantive page carries a review date, and the information is stated as we understand it at that date, with the issuing authority referenced so you can check the current position yourself.
Where a deadline, threshold or requirement matters to a decision you are making, verify it against the notice, instrument or authority that applies to you rather than relying on this site. A closing date printed on your own notice governs; a general rule described here does not.
Nothing on this site is an offer or a quotation. Fees are quoted individually in writing once the purpose, the property, the valuation date and the reporting standard are known, and no fee is payable until you accept a quote.
We correct errors when we find them or when they are pointed out to us. If you believe something here is wrong, tell us and we will check it.
What you may and may not do with it.
You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own information, and quote short extracts with attribution to RPV and a link to the page quoted.
You may not reproduce substantial parts of this site as your own content, republish it commercially, scrape it to build a competing resource, remove attribution, or present our material in a way that misrepresents what it says.
Copyright in the content, structure and design of this site remains with RPV or its licensors. Trade marks, logos and the RPV name are ours and may not be used without written permission.

This site links to government, regulator and professional body websites to support statements made on our pages. Those sites are not under our control. We link to them because they are the authoritative source, not because we endorse everything on them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
The quote form on this site is provided by a third-party form service. Information you submit through it passes through that provider before reaching us. How we then handle it is set out in our privacy policy.
We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Content may be changed, moved or withdrawn at any time without notice.
The limits, stated plainly.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, information published on this site. Where the law does not permit an exclusion, our liability is limited to re-supplying the information or paying the cost of having it re-supplied. Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Relationship to an engagement. If you engage us, our terms of engagement govern that work and prevail over this page to the extent of any inconsistency. Reliance on a valuation report is limited to the party who instructed it, for the purpose stated in it.
Changes. We may amend these terms. The version published here applies from the effective date shown at the top of this page.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
